From the desert, the tour continues through the spectacular Todgha Gorge and the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and kasbahs. You then follow the ancient caravan routes to Marrakech, the vibrant Red City, where you will enjoy a guided city tour and free time to explore its lively atmosphere. This itinerary is perfect for travelers who want to see Morocco’s highlights in just one week, without rushing.

Stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques. After lunch, drive along the panoramic Ziz Valley, lined with thousands of palm trees. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon and settle into your desert hotel near the dunes.
Today is fully dedicated to discovering the Sahara. Explore the Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4, visit nomadic families, and learn about their traditional lifestyle. You will also stop in small desert villages and enjoy tea with locals. In the late afternoon, begin a camel trek across the dunes as the sun sets, creating unforgettable colors over the sand. Arrive at your desert camp, enjoy dinner, traditional music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel or vehicle to Merzouga for breakfast. Depart towards Rissani, an important historic trading center and birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. Continue to Todgha Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides—perfect for short walks and photos. In the afternoon, drive to the Dades Valley, passing through scenic landscapes and traditional Berber villages.
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses, known for its rose fields and local cooperatives. Arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you may visit Kasbah Taourirt or the film studios.
